This is used to update your own information, like preferences, contact information, etc.

Missing fields will be interpreted as deletions, except for sub-resources (like customers).

Some fields are read-only, and cannot be updated by this method, including:

  1. permissions -- these settings are managed in the customer endpoints.
  2. id -- this is immutable and can never change for your individual account.

In general, you can only update your own individual information, though in the future, you may be able to delegate editing permissions to others as well.[
